I meant to post right away, but forgot, and now have forgotten the names of the dishes! Mushroom pasta and a blackened steak....? Seriously delicious! We got the story about the current state of affairs from "Captain" Matt. He said the restaurant has been purchased by the Buchanan's, who will try to preserve the history and continue to stabilize the consistency of service. I had yet ANOTHER great experience here, and hope they are able to thrive and succeed!

Everything was decent on the food side. But their beers were awesome! I tried 6 beers, and the Valhalla was a total winner. The others were great, but that was special. I tasted the beers on Untappd of you need more. Service was solid, and the look was old school rural ambiance. I would recommend coming for a light meal and to focus on the beer!

We came to El Rancho after spending the morning at Meow Wolf. We were starving as we didn't have a large breakfast. The restaurant is huge with a nice view of the mountains. The staff is super friendly. We were seated right away as it was a little after 2 and it wasn't too busy. They have cocktails on drafts and I ordered the Old Fashioned ($10) on draft. It was perfect in every way. I ordered the Eggs Benedict ($18), which can only be ordered on Saturday and Sunday. It was delicious and filling. The potatoes were nice and crispy. I would return as everything was great. Highly recommend stopping by for lunch and dinner.
